Cordyceps has also been called the “Zombie” mushroom or caterpillar fungus. It is an entomopathogenic fungus that grows on the larvae of ghost moths, eventually mummifying and killing it. Harvested from as early as May each year through out the summer months, these cordyceps are incredibly rare and potent.
